The Monastic Life Project

Study the image of monasticism
and develop your own inner life in the modern world

Our weekend-long study will help you build a modern Jungian contemplative practice within your current life.

Build a Jungian monastic practice within your current life, drawing inspiration from ancient wisdom.

We are a diverse group of long-time spiritual seekers and finders. We have experience with contemplative traditions from zen to yoga, from Taoism to Christian mysticism. What unites us is a Jungian conviction that everyone has within them the images that will guide their own spiritual development.

Our approach is to provide a quiet and contemplative space in which to encounter the specific and unique aspects of the inner life that is usually drowned out by the noise of the world. This inner life, once nourished, can then flourish in the busy workaday world.

Our Approach

Who is this for?

This is for anyone who has wondered about living a more deeply connected and spiritual life - one that is often thought as a monastic way. We help to translate these ideas into practices and ways of thinking that support our most authentic being in all walks of life.
